About this event

A two-day interactive workshop designed for PropTech founders, executives, and board members navigating recapitalizations, strategic partnerships, and M&A processes.

Tuesday, September 23: 12:00pm–1:30pm EDT
Wednesday, September 24: 12:00pm–1:30pm EDT

Both sessions will be recorded.

Over two 90-minute live sessions, you’ll learn how to map the full buyer universe, position your company with strength, and run a competitive process that creates real optionality. You’ll leave with frameworks, checklists, and case studies that help you avoid costly mistakes — and maximize your leverage when it matters most.

Participants will receive pre-read materials, including buyer landscape maps, process checklists, and narrative frameworks, and gain post-course access to Circle, where we’ll share recorded videos, example decks, and process templates.

You’ll learn how to:
  • Map your buyer universe — understand the differences between strategic and financial buyers, and how each evaluates value.
  • Play offense with a hybrid approach — frame your raise to maximize valuation while leaving the door open for opportunistic M&A.
  • Craft marketing materials that win — design decks and data rooms that build investor confidence (and avoid common mistakes).
  • Decide on bankers — know when to hire one, what good bankers actually do, and how to negotiate their fees.
  • Run a competitive process — structure outreach, build competitive tension, and know when to pivot, delay, or reframe.

You’ll leave with a step-by-step framework to run your process like a world-class M&A team — even if this is your first time.
