About Thesis Driven
Thesis Driven is an independent media and data company covering where real estate capital is going next. We do it through deep-dive writing, live workshops, and data products built for the people moving the built world.

Our worldview
From our writing to our data products, everything Thesis Driven creates is shaped by a set of underlying views. Rather than take a hedged, shotgun approach, we believe companies should hold clear opinions about where the world is headed. Ours include:
In a world increasingly saturated with AI-generated slop, authentic human relationships and real storytelling remain central to building enduring businesses, in real estate and beyond.
Democracy and capitalism are good things.
Declining fertility is modestly overhyped in the short term and dramatically underappreciated in the long term.
The simultaneous retreat of institutional investors and venture capital from emerging real estate operators is creating space for new financing models that are likely to emerge over the next two to four years.
The capital markets are undergoing a “hollowing out,” where only the largest incumbents and the smallest, most nimble players can thrive. The middle is a dead zone.
We should build new cities again.
Algorithmic social media is probably the Great Filter.
Fire departments wield far too much influence over the shape of the built environment.
Proptech is a deceptively small market.
What we build
One company, several ways into the real estate capital markets.
