About the workshop

Most development firms are still running on a website built in 2019, or worse, no website at all. Meanwhile the investors, brokers, and municipalities you need to impress are checking your online presence before they ever return your call.

This session is led by Daniel Kronovet, Thesis Driven's CTO, who builds the tools and systems the company runs on. He's going to show you exactly how AI plans, writes, and builds a real website, then hand you the keys so you can do it yourself, live, for your own firm.

Thesis Driven's own website uses the same approach: our team updates it themselves, with no technical background, because AI has made it simple enough to just do. Daniel will demystify the tools and cut through the jargon, so what sounds like a developer's job turns out to be something you can handle yourself in an afternoon.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have built and published a real website, on your own domain, with your own hands. You'll walk away knowing exactly how to keep it running: new copy, new project pages, new updates, all yours to make whenever you want.

What you'll build

  • A live, working website on your own domain, built during the session
  • AI-generated copy for your homepage, about page, and project or portfolio pages
  • A site structure and layout suited to a development firm's needs
  • A simple, repeatable way to update pages, add projects, and edit copy yourself, no technical background required

You'll learn how to

  • Build and publish a real website live during the session, using real developer tools
  • Use AI to write homepage, about, and project page copy that sounds like your firm, not a template
  • Choose a site structure that fits a development firm's audience: investors, brokers, municipalities, and prospective partners
  • Set up a domain and get your site live on the web
  • Make ongoing updates yourself: new copy, new pages, new projects
  • Avoid the common mistakes that make a self-built site look unfinished
  • Prompt and edit AI output so it reads sharp and specific, not like generic AI copy

What the workshop covers

Planning Your Site

Before you build anything, you need a clear picture of who the site is for and what it needs to do.

  • Defining your audience and their first questions about your firm
  • Mapping the pages a development firm actually needs
  • Setting a tone and positioning that matches how you want to be perceived

Live Build: Writing Your Copy with AI

You'll draft real copy for your site using AI, live, during the workshop.

  • Prompting AI for homepage and about page copy that's specific, not generic
  • Writing project and portfolio pages that showcase your track record
  • Editing AI output so it reads sharp and specific, not like generic AI copy

Live Build: Building and Publishing the Site

You'll take your copy and turn it into a live, working website.

  • Choosing a layout and structure for your pages
  • Assembling the site using AI-assisted tools
  • Connecting a domain and publishing the site live

Maintaining It Yourself

A website only stays useful if you can keep it current, and now you can.

  • Updating copy and adding new project pages after the workshop
  • Setting up a simple workflow so updates take minutes, not weeks
  • Handling everything yourself, from small copy tweaks to new pages

Format & access

Live session

Three hours via Zoom, fully hands-on. Bring your firm's basic information (logo, past projects, any existing copy) to work with during the build.

Recording & materials

All registered participants receive the session recording and templates after the workshop.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any technical or coding background?

No, although we will be teaching you some of the tools used by professional developers. AI will do most of the driving, so as long as you can use a web browser you'll be ok.

Will I really have a live website by the end of the session?

Yes. You'll leave with a real site published on your own domain, not a mockup or a plan to build one later.

What if my firm already has a website?

This works either way. You can rebuild your existing site with a stronger structure and AI-written copy, or use the session to finally launch a first site.

Do I need to buy a domain before the workshop?

No, but it helps. We'll cover how to connect a domain during the session, whether you already own one or need to register one.

Can I still update the site myself after the workshop?

Yes, that's the whole idea. You'll leave knowing exactly how to make updates yourself, the same way Thesis Driven's own non-technical team runs our site.
